Still 7 days until your test?
Full time to go through every module multiple times – plus the last-minute companion checklist for your final practice drives together.
Most people don’t fail because of their driving.
They fail because they don’t know what an examiner is actually watching for – and that’s fixable before you even get in the car.
Where you look matters more than how you steer
A large part of the grading depends on observation technique and mirror/shoulder checks – things barely any driving lesson explicitly trains.
What’s actually tested stays unclear
Which vehicle-check questions actually come up, and which tricks help you move confidently through traffic, is usually only learned during the test itself – not before.
Mistakes repeat themselves unnoticed
Without knowing what an examiner is specifically looking for, candidates often repeat the same mistakes on their second attempt as on their first.
What §70 FSG candidates should know.
If you’re converting a licence from outside the EU/EEA under §70 FSG, you may need to take the practical driving test directly – sometimes without going through a full local driving-school course first. Two things worth knowing: Austria explicitly allows you to bring an interpreter to the practical test (unlike some other countries), and the theory test is available in German, English, Croatian, Slovenian, and sign language. The practical test content itself is exactly the same as for any other Class B candidate – this course covers precisely that content.
Written by people with decades of experience in driving-test administration.
No textbook knowledge. Ferdinand and Alexander have sat on the other side of the test car for decades – and know exactly which patterns lead to passing.
Working for decades closely within driving-test administration. Knows the patterns that lead to passing – and to failing – better than almost anyone.
Combines decades of experience as a police officer with deep insight into driving-test administration. Knows from multiple perspectives what really matters on the road – and in the test.
„Most candidates who don’t pass with us don’t actually drive that badly. They fail because of things no driving school ever showed them – because instructors often don’t know exactly what’s being watched for during the test. Within the first 90 seconds of a test, a lot is already decided about whether someone will pass. Knowing that gives you a real head start.“
What to expect – and what you’ll know afterwards.
